I facilitated workshops with key stakeholders to define project requirements and co-create a solution from the ground up. Through these sessions, I guided discussions, mapped out needs, and developed the first lo-fi prototype with annotated wireflows.
Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) - now part of Stellantis, is one of the world's largest automotive groups with a diverse portfolio of brands, including Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, among others.
FCA has partnered with C.E.S.A.R to develop an experience to engage its consumers with their brands, featuring the car as the centerpiece for social networking.
I joined the core project team in Detroit to lead a series of workshops with key stakeholders, I was responsible for clarifying the requirements and co-creating the solution from scratch.
My contributions were instrumental in aligning project goals, refining design concepts, and setting the stage for successful implementation. I facilitated discussions, mapped out requirements, and created the first lo-fi prototype with detailed wireflows, ensuring the entire team had a clear vision of the project's direction.
Onboarding: welcome and quick setup
Create groups: select friends and create groups
Points of interest: rate and comment off-road locations
Voice notes: record notes associated with the locations
Share location: live share and request location sharing
Follow me: highlight and share off-road routes for others to follow
During the sessions, the participants sketched how they imagined the experience could be. Later on, I refined the raw ideas, detailed and documented them into flows.
The lo-fi prototyping was the adopted technique for this phase, as it speeds up the documentation process, allow changes at low cost, and let designers get creative on the visuals.
Back home, I presented and handed off the documentation to the project's design and engineering team, sharing the vision and requirements to advance to the next phases.
My comprehensive documentation gave the team a clear roadmap to move forward with confidence, ensuring a solid understanding of client expectations and user requirements. The success of our collaborative work with stakeholders has boosted their trust in the iterative design process.
